It was a match made on eHarmony — that quickly took shape offline! From the beginning, they connected over a love of classic films, a shared sense of wit and humor, and a gut feeling that something special was in the air. Within just a couple months of dating, they each realized that they had found their person.
What I love about Meredith and Steve is the ease with which they are able to not take life too seriously — but when it comes to the heartfelt, romantic touches, they do not hold back. At Carondelet House, Meredith slipped into a custom made dress, while Steve donned his suit jacket inscribed with “Let’s be still. Let’s be a family” – from the song that played in the background when he proposed. The lyric was embroidered on the inside, where it would be worn close to the heart.
And family means everything to Meredith and Steve. Their dog Maggie joined in on the big day, keeping Meredith company all morning ( she may or may not have had the first ever “doggie first look” after Meredith got dressed!), posing for photos with the groomsmen, and walking down the aisle at the ceremony.
With a ceremony officiated by a close friend, surrounded by family and friends in the historic 1920’s building, they exchanged vows, laughter, and tears. Congratulations Meredith and Steve; to say you two are perfect for each other would be an understatement! Wishing you all the years of happiness.
