She didn’t know it, but it was hiding at the bottom of Ryan’s backpack all week….”it” being the stunning engagement ring Ryan was about to propose to her with. They were in Mexico, celebrating their anniversary with a romantic dinner, when Ryan got down on one knee and asked Sharon to spend the rest of her life with him. Sharon, having made Ryan promise not to propose in Mexico ( …out of logical concern about traveling with a diamond in a backpack), was in complete shock. While she remained in a state of surprised speechlessness, Ryan slipped the ring on her finger before she could get out an official “yes”. When Sharon realized what had just happened, she politely requested Ryan get down on his knee and ask again – to which of course she said “Yes!”.
These two Los Angeles natives love hiking, so it was only fitting that their engagement session take place in local Griffith Park. After strolling some of the lower trails, we headed up to the iconic observatory to catch the last rays of sunshine.
Dogs Milo & Otis didn’t make the photoshoot, but perhaps they will make an appearance at Sharon & Ryan’s August wedding 😉
