Not only was this my first time meeting Nifemi and Nayo, but it was their first time in Los Angeles!
When we initially spoke, Nifemi (who is currently getting her PhD in civil engineering) mentioned she preferred a spot with architecture for their engagement session.
So naturally, a downtown Los Angeles engagement session came immediately to mind!
We started out at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall — an architectural beauty.
Nifemi looked SO GOOD in this long red dress. If you’re ever wondering what to wear to an engagement session…think about colors that will help you stand out against the background. Her red dress and Nayo’s crisp black suit did exactly that!
This was my first Walt Disney Concert Hall engagement shoot, and I think I was just as excited as these two to be taking photos in such a cool space!
We ended their gorgeous engagement session at the LACMA lights.
Nayo proposed to Nifemi over a romantic dinner a few months ago, and it’s clear to see how much these two adore each other!
More amazing than all the incredible architecture and design we visited, is Nifemi and Nayo’s love for each other. While Nifemi is finishing grad school in Florida, Nayo is working out in Northern California. On top of a long distance engagement, they are also planning their wedding back home in Nigeria!
