Sometimes what you’re looking for is right in front of you. Dani and Harrison‘s story is no exception. When they met, they happened to be living across the street from each other. Only a few months into dating, they both felt like they’d know each other forever. Isn’t it crazy how quickly someone can come into your life and before you know it you can’t even remember what it was like without them?
Harrison planned to propose over the holidays. After cooking a delicious, romantic chicken piccata dinner ( a dish they’d enjoyed on their third date), Harrison guided Dani to the well-hidden ring. Like the perfect present, it was sitting under their Christmas tree inside a large box. The box was taped up so well that Dani had to use box cutters to get it open! Dani persisted, and when she opened it up and realized what was inside, a cross-legged Harrison casually asked “so…you wanna get married?” The answer was of course “Yes!” ( and yes…he did get down on one knee later too).
Dani and Harrison’s Topanga Canyon wedding was full of jewel-toned touches, laughter, and love. Underneath the twinkling lights of the venue, they celebrated with friends and family from near and far.
Anemones are one of my favorite flowers! I am completely obsessed with this bouquet from Garden Florists. The deep red, greenery, and soft pinks combined beautifully!
Dani and her mom Sarita look so much alike! They both looked gorgeous on the wedding day. Dani’s loose curls added a romantic touch.
Both mother of the groom and the mother of the bride were all smiles!
