At an intimate family-only ceremony in Palos Verdes, Devin & Jason exchanged their handwritten vows. Jason walked down the aisle escorted by both his mother and Devin’s. Moments later, when he locked eyes with Devin coming down the aisle, there was not a dry eye between them.
With ocean views, a friend-officiated ceremony, and an arch designed by the mother of the bride, it was the perfect location for a boho backyard wedding.
Non-traditional elements — like Devin’s embroidered Anthropologie shoes (major WANT!), and the gorgeous flowers which were done by a family friend— added a colorful touch to the day.
Devin looked stunning in her Jenny Yoo x BHLDN gown. As all my favorite dresses do, it also had pockets! (seriously useful for stashing an extra tissue or two).
Her twin sister / Maid of Honor Jenna was by her side throughout the day, along with the rest of the bridesmaids.
We headed to a nearby park for their first look…keep scrolling to see Jason’s priceless reaction!
A sweet moment as Devin and her parents saw each other for the first time…
The bridesmaids all wore handmade skirts.
After the ceremony, both family and friends gathered poolside for cocktails, dinner and dancing. The home’s large glass walls opened up to allow guests to seamlessly flow between the dance floor and lawn!
Guests enjoyed Asian noodle lettuce cups and gourmet mac & cheese from New York Food Company, while a bubble machine and flamingo pool float brought the Palm Springs vibes.
It was extra fun getting to see Zlatan, whose wedding I shot in 2016, out on the dance floor!
