Clean & Classic Moorpark Wedding at Walnut Grove

Kate and Tyler’s clean and classic Moorpark wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and rustic charm. The venue, Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Farms, is located adjacent to Simi Valley and offers a stunning natural backdrop.

How They Met + The Proposal

They met on eHarmony back in 2017, hit it off, and never looked back. Fast forward to July 2022, when Tyler pulled off the sweetest proposal. He took Kate and their dog, Gunnar, to the park for what seemed like a normal outing—until Gunnar came running back with something a little more special than a tennis ball. Gunnar had fetched an engagement ring, and Kate, of course, said yes!

The Wedding Day

For their wedding design, Kate and Tyler opted for a clean and classic look that elevated Walnut Grove’s rustic setting. White florals mixed with greenery adorned the ceremony and reception spaces, creating an effortlessly elegant atmosphere. Their color palette of green, terra cotta, and white was beautifully accented by the groomsmen’s navy suits, a perfect contrast against the natural landscape.

It was only fitting that their four-legged best friend made an appearance at their wedding. Adorable custom Gunnar sugar cookies adorned each guest’s table setting.

One of the most breathtaking moments was stealing them away for sunset photos in the neighboring sunflower fields. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, we got to create some truly epic portraits.

Strands of bistro lights twinkled above the outdoor reception, casting a warm, intimate glow over the celebration. Guests dined and danced under the stars, soaking in the magic of the evening. Just when everyone thought the night couldn’t get any sweeter, a donut cart arrived, serving up fresh treats to keep the celebration going.
