Family was at the heart of Leyla and David’s Los Angeles Union Station wedding. The high school sweethearts chose to forgo a classic bridal party. Instead, they got ready alongside their parents at the stylish Palihouse West Hollywood hotel, and it was sooo sweet!
These stunning invitations from minted.com set the tone for their downtown LA wedding, which exuded classic Cali vibes and old Hollywood glam.
When it’s your wedding day, why not have two dresses and two sparkly pairs of shoes to wear?! For dancing, Leyla slipped into a more dance-friendly dress, and these fabulous Betsey Johnson flats.
Before going to the venue, the couple gave a toast to their parents along with handwritten notes and personalized gifts.
After David was on his way to Union Station, Leyla got dressed with the help of her mom and her future mother-in-law. It was sooo sweet seeing how close-knit these families are!
Their wedding ceremony took place in Union Station’s main outdoor courtyard. Their florals added a subtle tropical vibe, which was a fun non-traditional touch.
Not only were Leyla and David drawn to the iconic architecture of the venue, but it also holds a sentimental place in their story. In high school, before they could drive, they’d take public transportation downtown and hang out at the station!
Guests tossed rose petals as the newlyweds walked back down the aisle, and it was picture perfect!
How grand is this event space?! Not only does it make a gorgeous wedding venue, but it’s also been the filming location for many movies.
Shades of pink added a warm, SoCal touch to this Los Angeles Union Station wedding reception. Table names like “Malibu”, “Palos Verdes”, and “Beverly Hills” also continued the classic California theme.
Luggage tags doubled as escort cards and party favors for wedding guests.
