Yun and Hyungjin kicked off 2026 with their Santa Barbara Courthouse ceremony, where they were surrounded by a group of their closest family members.
Family traveled far and wide — including from Korea, San Diego, and San Francisco — to be present for their day. Thankfully, the recent rains held off as everyone gathered for this intimate winter wedding ceremony at the courthouse. Relatives looked on as Yun and Hyungjin exchanged vows on a stone staircase along the side of the building. I absolutely love shooting at this location because there is truly no bad angle or spot for photography.
After tying the knot, the couple headed inside to file their marriage license — the interior of the historic courthouse is just as beautiful as the outside! We took family portraits overlooking the sunken garden, and wrapped up with stunning portraits around the outside of the building.
Yun wore a winter white coat which was a perfectly chic layer for their early January wedding in Santa Barbara. The back of her wedding dress featured an oversized bow; another detail that matched their simple but incredibly tasteful and thoughtful day.
When portraits wrapped up, Yun, Hyungjin and their families walked over to local restaurant Jane for a delicious lunch.
