The next chapter of your story is just beginning - and you want a photographer who gets you! You want someone who can capture not just snapshots of your day, but the emotion of it all. You want to relax and enjoy spending time with all the loved ones who have traveled from near and far.
And more than anything, you want photos that, years from now, will transport you right back to what you were feeling in the moment... from the look on his face as he watches you walk down the aisle to the excitement of having your closest girlfriends by your side.
I take a fresh, creative, and highly personal approach with each of my couples in order to make your photography experience stress-free and fun, while creating the best images possible on your day. I understand that no two events or couples are the same, and that each love story is uniquely beautiful.
Including sentimental details in your day? I want to hear all about it! I love getting to know my couples before the big day, whether through an engagement session, coffee catch-ups, or both!
I’ve been told I have a calming presence and will be your advocate to make sure all the moments that matter most are getting captured, while allowing you to be present with your guests.
You’ll receive a curated collection of wedding images that beautifully tell the story of your day...a story you’ll want to relive over and over again.
“Rachel made us feel very at ease during the whole process and was really open and honest with her suggestions. It truly felt like we were working with someone we had known for years!”
"Our wedding was beautiful, and went by all too quickly. Having our beautiful wedding photos to look at truly is the best present that we could ask for; memories for a lifetime."
“Effortless and elegant...incredible candid shots that conveyed the spirit of the wedding perfectly.”
Envision a beautiful wall of wedding photos in your home, and each anniversary, popping some bubbles and looking through your album. Your wedding is a momentous occasion...bring it to life with heirloom prints and albums that will stand the test of time.
Once your wedding images are ready, we’ll set up a time for your viewing! It's the perfect time to pop some bubbly and relive highlights of your day, and will be the first time you see your images!
After your viewing, you’ll receive an email invitation to your beautiful online gallery, which can easily be shared with friends and family. Any guests you share the gallery with will be able to purchase small prints (up to 8x10) directly from my professional lab.
Your viewing will include a design & ordering session. From stunning heirloom albums, to parent gifts and thank you cards — we'll finalize any print orders so that you can go live your best newlywed life without having to spend tedious hours navigating DIY options.
I highly recommend ordering any prints or albums through my professional lab to ensure the color and quality is consistent with the special processing I apply to each image.
No. I don’t use a shot list, as this would very much slow me down on a wedding day. The only portion of a wedding day that I use a shot list for is family photos. However, if there’s a specific area of your venue that you want to make we take portraits at, let me know and I’m happy to work this in!
Typically you’ll receive at least 80 photos per hour of coverage. No two weddings are identical; the number of photos will vary a bit depending on the number of guests, the number of locations involved (and how much driving time in between), and special traditions. Rest assured, your day will be well documented.
No. I look through every image taken, and remove duplicative images, images where eyes are closed, images where someone walked in front of the camera, etc. After these outtakes and duplicates are removed, the rest get edited and delivered to you as a curated collection that tells a comprehensive story of the day.
In-person viewings can be scheduled starting 6 weeks after the wedding, or 2 weeks after your engagement session. Virtual viewings can be scheduled starting 8 weeks after the wedding, or 3 weeks after the engagement session.
