Maya’s colorful Candyland birthday party was nothing short of a dream! My seven-year-old self would have been in absolute heaven!
Juliet (The COOP) designed, planned and flawlessly executed this candy-themed extravaganza. On arrival, themed signs led guests from the front of the house to the backyard, where an epic Candyland celebration awaited.
Guests left gifts under the welcoming Gingerbread Plum Tree and adults could grab a beverage from the Longshot mobile espresso cart. As a parent who has attended my share of kids parties, I’ll say it goes such a long way when there is a little something special for the grown ups to enjoy! The cappuccinos were even dusted with a custom stencil that read “Maya is 7.”
Next came the “Gumball Mountain,” a bubble house from Bubble Bounce Bash, where kids could jump around before continuing along the rainbow trail. Oversized candies and inflatable gummy bears lined the trail, which led guests to the main event in the backyard. The COOP knocked it out of the park with lots of whimsical and vibrant candy-themed decor.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Candyland birthday party without a gourmet cotton candy cart! The Jolly Sheep spun up blueberry muffin, gummy bear, and strawberry flavored cotton candy. Soon, kids were happily lining up to get their own sweet treat.
For entertainment, kids enjoyed several different crafting tables from Little Artist Party. First was a jewelry making station where they could choose from an assortment of colorful beads. Next was the “stuffy station,” where kids could stuff animals and then decorate a t-shirt for their new furry friend.
Refreshments were served with colorful twisty straws, and bowls of ring pops helped make this birthday party extra sweet. The decor was a work of art in itself. Balloons filled a cardboard bubblegum machine, and large strips of faux candy buttons looked good enough to eat!
The vibrant, playful decorations transformed this backyard into a magical and memorable Candyland birthday.
Across the pool, a balloon arch spelled out “Maya’s Candyland” and before leaving, guests could grab a to-go bag of treats.
I can’t think of a sweeter way to celebrate seven! But sweetest of all was how much fun Maya had celebrating with her best friend at her side.
