These Palos Verdes family photos bring me so much joy! First of all, Czarina, Bryan, and their 1.5 year old son Eli are the absolute sweetest. But also, after photographing their wedding last fall, it was such a treat to work with them again for family portraits. Eli was just a little tot at the wedding, but now he’s running around and got to be a bigger part of the action.
This extended portrait session allowed plenty of time for a wardrobe and location change, and for letting Eli just explore and have fun while capturing tons of natural moments between these three.
We started at the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden, which is a perfect location for bright and airy family photos.
Eli had fun running around and exploring the gardens. The South Coast Botanic Garden is plenty spacious, which made socially distanced family photos super easy!
I always make sure to get a mix of candid, natural moments along with the more classic “looking at the camera” shots!
These three love the beach, so we allowed time to end their Palos Verdes family photos at Malaga Cove. The rocky beach was the perfect spot to catch the sunset!
Eli had fun collecting rocks and showing off what he found! Luckily there were more than enough to choose from at Malaga Cove.
