2018 Year in Review

December 29, 2018

As the new year approaches, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on 2018. I know I’m biased, but I really do feel like I have the best couples! I’ve had the chance to work with incredible people ( both couples and talented vendors!) while photographing some beautiful Los Angeles weddings and engagements this year.

Recently, I shot my first styled shoot at The Ruby Street, which is an incredibly cool church-turned-event-space in Highland Park. I am so excited to share these photos once it gets published next spring/summer!

Here’s a quick look back at some favorite moments of 2018!

Dimitra & Jordan’s Descanso Gardens Wedding

It was all about friends and family at Dimitra and Jordan’s spring Descanso Gardens wedding. Jordan hand-built the chuppah that they got married under, and that doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the meaningful touches! See the full post on the blog.

Devin & Jason’s Palos Verdes Wedding

Devin and Jason’s Palos Verdes wedding took place at a private residence with ocean views, where family gathered for an intimate ceremony. From first look to parent dances, there were a lot of super sweet moments! See the full post on the blog.

Dani & Harrison’s Topanga Wedding

Dani and Harrison got married at the Inn of the Seventh Ray. Jewel tones were the name of the game — from gorgeous blooms to the bridesmaids dresses! See the full post on the blog.

Engagement Sessions!

From Manhattan Beach, to the Griffith Observatory, and some of my favorite spots in Malibu, 2018 was full of fun engagement sessions! Now I am extra excited for more amazing Los Angeles weddings in 2019! See more engagement sessions on the blog.

A West Hollywood Proposal

Alex proposed to Lauren at Terroni — an Italian restaurant near their home in WeHo. In the private back room, he set up a romantic table for two, flowers, candles, and a whole lot of photos from throughout their relationship. This was my first proposal shoot, so it holds an extra special place in my heart. I was honored to capture this amazing moment for them, and hope it’s the first of many more proposals!

A Paris Anniversary Session

While on a family vacation to Paris this fall, I got to do an anniversary session with some dear friends who also happened to be in Paris at the same time! We had to get up super early to beat the crowds, but it was definitely worth it! See the full post on the blog.

CHARD Photo Workshop

This year, investing in my business was a top priority. Attending my first photography workshop was a major highlight and spending a day with the very talented Rich Lander at his CHARD Photo Workshop was invaluable! Here’s a few favorites from the portrait session we did during the workshop.

What a year it has been! I’m already looking forward to 2019 weddings, more styled shoots, and working with some of my favorite vendors again too!
