Emily & Dakota enjoy camping and the outdoors. We planned an oceanside engagement session at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, and strolled the beautiful nature trails before making our way down to Terranea Beach Cove.
The luxury resort’s spanish-style steps have gorgeous tiling and made a lovely spot to start out. Emily’s flowy white lace dress mirrored the effortless beauty of this landmark SoCal resort.
With the sun’s golden glow in the background, we made our way down the trail to the rocky beach. This secluded little cove is a great spot for adventurous couples who want a beach engagement session. If you go at low tide, and are up for a little rock scrambling, you can get some pretty epic photos from atop an outcropping of rocks!
Emily & Dakota met 8 years ago after being introduced at a mutual friend’s birthday party and one of their favorite places to camp is the Colorado River. Dakota proposed there and they wanted an engagement photos at a location that felt laid-back, had beautiful scenery, and was by the ocean. Their oceanside engagement session was so dreamy and delivered on all fronts!
I love that this property so seamlessly combines nature with luxury. Terranea Resort has lots of nature trails and incredible ocean views, making it a gorgeous location for SoCal engagement sessions.
