Why I Love It
With luxury hotel weddings, it’s often hard to still maintain an intimate feel, but the weddings at the Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel achieve just that. The courtyard and ballroom spaces directly adjoin each other, and the lush greenery of the courtyard make it feel extra inviting. Finding a tranquil spot for a first look is usually a challenge with hotel weddings, but the Sunset Terrace offers a more private, quiet spot for a first look. With its lush greenery and Mediterranean feel, the terrace makes a beautiful backdrop for portraits, scoring it major points in my book!
History of the Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel
The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, located in Los Angeles's prestigious Bel-Air neighborhood, has a rich history dating back to the mid-20th century. Originally known as the Bel-Air Sands Hotel, it was a favored retreat for celebrities and luminaries of Hollywood's Golden Age; much like the Beverly Hills Hotel. Over the years, the hotel has undergone extensive renovations and rebranding to become the luxurious and sophisticated establishment it is today.
